FALL LEARN-TO-SKATE 2009

*During the Sept. 9th session, we will also be hosting an Open House with FREE Skating, assessments and demonstrations from our Star Skaters!  This is a good opportunity for some fun and to see where skating can take you.  If you can't come to any of these times, you can also drop off your registration form and cheque at the Trout Lake Arena anytime before the skating sessions begin.

*To get the full benefit from this program, it is recommended that skaters register for minimum 2 days.*

If any of your children are interested in Figure Skating, please talk to your coaches about Junior Development lessons.  These are the lessons that introduce your children to figure skating basics that lead to Star Skate lessons.  The coaches have asked that people interested in Jr. Development take at least 2 lessons a week or one Jr. Development lesson and one private lesson.

For private lessons please talk to your coach.

**Please note that all prices include the $22.00 annual Skate Canada fee**

 

Annual Skate Canada Membership Fee : 

        $30.00 less $8.00 Grandview Skating Club Member Discount

        Total Skate Canada Membership Fee:  $22.00 (Non-refundable)

 

*Skate Canada Annual Membership is valid from Sept 1st to Aug 31st of current skating year.

  • Registration Fee includes $2.10 which is applied to insurance coverage for all Grandview Home Club Members.

Helmets and Skate Rentals are NOT available during the Fall Season.

Skaters should ensure that their own skates are properly fitted and sharpened.  Helmets are strongly recommended for all Learn-to-Skate programs.

AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT AND SIGN UP WHEN REGISTRATIONS BEGINS!  Some classes are very popular and fill up quickly.  Classes will be arranged according to the number of skaters registered.

Registration is ongoing, but all skaters must be registered prior to attending a class.

We do NOT accept Credit Cards or Debit Cards.

FALL FUNDRAISER:

We are a non-profit organization run by a volunteer board of executives.  In order to offset the high cost of ice fees and coaches expenses, we will occasionally hold events which promote fun while raising funds for the club.  We appreciate all support given by our members, as this keeps program costs at a minimum.

 

This season we request that all skaters participate and support:

NSF Cheques are subject to a $15.00 Administration Fee.

Refunds will not be issued after 1st week of lessons unless accompanied by a valid Medical Certificate. Only written requests will be considered. All refunds will be pro-rated. An administration fee of $15.00 will apply to all refunds being processed.
